All new clients are required to book a New Hair Consultation before scheduling any other services.
This consultation is the initial service option available through our booking site and must be completed before any further appointments can be scheduled.

At Hideaway Haven Hair Studio, we recognize that the consultation is the most critical part of your service. There have been instances where clients' results did not align with their expectations. The consultation is the time for clients to express their hair goals and for the stylist to set realistic expectations, ensuring everyone is aligned before the service begins. We can either bring your favorite ideas to life or suggest options you may not have considered.
A thorough consultation accompanies every service at Hideaway Haven Hair Studio. Please bring pictures and an open mind to your consultation.

At Hideaway Haven Hair Studio, we are committed to delivering a customized and exceptional experience for each guest. Our professional team prioritizes a healthy and realistic approach to achieving your hair goals.
If you are unsatisfied or have any questions or concerns regarding the services you have received, please notify us within three (3) days from the date of service. The three-day period begins on the day the service is provided and ends at 6:00 PM on the third day following the service. For example, if your service is performed on Tuesday, you have until 6:00 PM on Thursday to inform us of any issues.
We require that you return to the salon to see the stylist who performed the initial service. At that time, we will make every effort to adjust your hair to your satisfaction. These adjustments will be provided at no additional cost if we are notified within the specified three-day period.
Please note that the full-service price will apply after the initial three-day period.
Service Policy and Re-Do Terms
1. Non-Refundable Services:
- All services provided by Hideaway Haven Hair Studio are non-refundable.
2. Re-Do Services:
- Re-do services must be scheduled with the original stylist who performed the initial service.
- Re-do services are available on Tuesdays, Thursdays, or Sundays within three (3) weeks from the initial service date.
- The re-do policy does not cover changes in the style or color initially requested.
- Re-do services do not include further lightening.
- Re-do services include toning or color balancing and/or returning to your natural hair color.
3. Liability:
- Hideaway Haven Hair Studio is not liable for, nor will it offer, re-do services for hair color that has been altered by the client or another stylist outside our studio.
- We cannot guarantee any color services on hair that has been treated with henna or box color.
- No chemical hair services are guaranteed to be without damage, as every session is different, and each individual's experience is subjective.
4. Product Use:
- Your color, keratin, or extension service will only be guaranteed if you use the recommended products purchased directly from our salon.
- If you do not use the recommended products, we cannot perform any re-do services free of charge.
5. Re-Do Requests:
- Any re-do requests made after three (3) days from the original service date will be subject to management or owner approval.
We are constantly expanding our services to bring you the best and greatest.
Although we make every effort to keep our website and booking menu updated, please note that prices shown are starting, and service prices are subject to change at any time.
At Hideaway Haven Hair Studio, we require you to keep a current credit card on file to book any services. All information is kept confidential and in an encrypted file.
Hideaway Haven Hair Studio accepts cash as well as all major credit cards including MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover.
Personal checks are not accepted and we do not give cash back on credit card charges.
Gratuity is not included in the service fees listed on our price list.
At Hideaway Haven Hair Studio, we value your role in our appointment process. The time allocated for your appointment is reserved exclusively for you to enjoy our services. We kindly request all our esteemed clients, both current and new, to provide a credit card number upon your initial booking, which will be securely stored in an encrypted file.
We understand that sometimes unavoidable situations arise, and schedule adjustments are necessary. We will do our best to work with you in an emergency. However, we respectfully request at least a 72-hour notice to adjust or reschedule your appointments. If we do not receive the required information for adjustments and cancellations, your credit card will be charged a 50% fee per service scheduled.
If your appointment is canceled within less than 72 hours of your scheduled appointment without proper communication with your stylist, your card will be charged 50% of each service scheduled. No-shows and same-day cancellations are included under this policy, and you will be charged 50% of the services booked.
As a gesture of our commitment to your convenience, you will receive a confirmation text 72 hours before your appointment. Simply click on the link to confirm your appointment time. Please note that failure to confirm your appointment 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment will result in the forfeiture of the appointment, and a 50% cancellation fee will apply.

Please understand that you are responsible for remembering your appointment dates/times to avoid late arrivals, missed/canceled appointments, and the cancellation fee.
We understand that sometimes, being late is unavoidable. However, depending on the circumstances, we may be forced to shorten or reschedule your service. Please be aware that if you are late, we cannot guarantee that your services will be performed that day. It may also result in incomplete service and affect your service quality.
If you are expecting to be late by 5 minutes or more to your scheduled appointment, please call us at (575) 655-0524.
If you are 10 minutes late or later, at the discretion of your service provider, we may have to reschedule or cancel your appointment.
If you are delayed more than 15 minutes without proper communication, you will be considered a “no-show," and you will be charged 50% of each service booked.
Please be advised that Hideaway Haven Hair Studio no longer provides services to new clients under 18. Rest assured, clients under 18 who have been serviced before this policy change are still warmly encouraged to continue receiving our services. This policy is implemented uniformly and without bias, ensuring fairness and consistency for all.
Our utmost priority is to provide each client with the attention they deserve. Therefore, we kindly request that children under 18 not accompany you to the salon unless they have a scheduled appointment. Clients who arrive with children may be asked to reschedule their appointments.
Haircuts for children 12 years old and under will be booked at the stylist’s discretion. Children scheduled for a service may be asked to reschedule if they begin crying or moving their heads excessively, as this can be distressing for the child and dangerous for the stylist.
We also request that sick children of any age not be brought into the salon.
At Hideaway Haven Hair Studio, we specialize in adult haircuts. While we do not primarily focus on children's haircuts, we strive to accommodate the haircut needs of children for our loyal clients as we are able.
Due to the size of our Studio waiting area, we no longer allow extra guests to accompany you to your appointment if they are not scheduled to receive a service. Our waiting room is reserved for guests processing for color and receiving services.
Exceptions include caretakers and parents of children under 18 years old.
While we do our best to work as neatly as possible there are times color may get on clothing, or water may touch your clothes or shoes. While this does not happen often we urge you to come in clothing that you do not mind getting dirty or damaged. We cannot be held responsible for damages to clothing during a service.
